It started with a dance.
Through sweaty palms and loud salsa, tourist Monica met expat JP in Phuket. The next day, they got to know one another through spicy food and flying bananas. After 2 fleeting weeks, Monica returned to South Africa, only to return to Thailand 3 months later to give life with JP a shot.
That was 5 years ago.
Each passing year has been filled with intense love, incredible journeys, and an understanding that life without one another is not an option. Leading a life in a foreign country, together, has only deepened their devotion to each other.
Comenzó con un baile.
A través de palmas sudorosas y salsa fuerte, la turista Mónica conoció a JP, expatriado en Phuket. Al día siguiente, se conocieron a través de la comida picante y los platanos voladoras. Después de 2 semanas fugaces, Monica regresó a Sudáfrica, solo para regresar a Tailandia 3 meses después para darle una oportunidad a la vida con JP.
Eso fue hace 5 años.
Cada año que pasa ha estado lleno de intenso amor, viajes increíbles y un entendimiento de que la vida sin el otro no es una opción. Llevar una vida en un país extranjero, juntos, solo ha profundizado su devoción mutua.
